Frankfurt
An immersive journey along Smetana's The Moldau – in light, sound and moving image.
Dreikönigskirche · 8 October to 23 November 2026
Experience FLOW, an unforgettable immersive journey in the heart of Frankfurt.
FLOW combines orchestral brilliance with creative sound design and electronic beats, in perfect symbiosis with breathtaking light projections. At its centre is one of classical music's best-loved works: Smetana's The Moldau, newly arranged and brought visually to life.

Under the artistic direction of Martin Skalsky, the composition was newly arranged and recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Tobias Preisig reinterprets it with electronic beats and creative sound design in an entirely new way.

Thousands of light sources turn the nave of the Dreikönigskirche into colour. 360° projection mapping and surround sound catapult you into the middle of it all, until the walls, columns and vaults themselves become part of the music.
You walk into the space, look up and let go. No path to follow, no seat to find: take your place and drift along on this immersive river for 30 minutes.

The Venue
The Dreikönigskirche stands on the southern bank of the Main in Sachsenhausen, directly opposite Frankfurt Cathedral. Its name goes back to 1340, when a chapel dedicated to the Three Holy Kings stood here. The present Neo-Gothic building was built between 1875 and 1880 to designs by cathedral architect Franz Josef von Denzinger. Its 81-metre tower was long the second-tallest structure in the city – a landmark on the Museumsufer, where Frankfurt's history meets the living bank of the Main.
